Hemp Well Limited was setup in 2017 as one of the first CBD companies to operate in the UK and has been based out of the Innovation Centre in York Science Park for the last 5 years.
From our offices we deal with the daily fulfilment of online orders and have our sales, marketing, technology, accounts and customer service teams available every day. York Laboratories
In our separate production laboratories, we manufacture all our CBD products and perform testing & product development. We now manufacture over 90 CBD products from our York laboratories.
Laboratory-1 is where our food supplements are produced under the SALSA food quality and safety certification. Laboratory-2 is where we manufacture our cosmetics which are all UK government registered. Our production facility is nut free and against cruelty to animals.
Dublin Office, Ireland
HempWell Ireland Limited was setup in 2021 and is now one of the leading CBD companies in Ireland. Based out of the stunning Fitzwilliam Hall in Dublin 2, Hempwell offers next day delivery across Ireland with Anpost and manges all Irish customer support locally. We also support our European customers from our Ireland Office.
Newry Office, N.I.
Our Newry office opened in 2024 to support our growing number of customers from Northern Ireland and also facilitate the shipping of goods between our UK – Ireland and European customer locations. HempWell plans to open a second production facility in Newry in 2025.

Phil first got involved with CBD in 2015 as Head of Global Business Development at Bridge Capital, a US Investment Firm, where he was directly involved in the funding of US businesses in the medical marijuana and CBD sector. He started taking CBD in 2016 to help with his chronic arthritis in his knees courtesy of an overly long passion for playing rugby and found the additional benefits of better sleep and reduced stress.
Lisa McWilliams
Previously a corporate communications specialist, Lisa has worked for a variety of investment banks as well as Fortune 500 companies.
She now runs the business on a day to day basis and is on hand to answer any queries on CBD and the collection of products available at Hemp Well. Lisa also looks after the companies social media and marketing activities.

Her work has been published all over Brighton including in the “Overtime” magazine and the Brighton “Argus”.
